Icons symbolizes the location of Universal
Orlando Resort and its places of attractions.
This is the second largest resort in
Orlando after the Walt Disney World Resort, brought
forward by a joint partnership between NBC Universal and
The Blackstone Group. To date, it has two theme parks,
an entertainment centre and three hotels. The resort was
first opened to the public through its first theme park
Universal Studios Florida in 1990. In 1999, they added
more attractions as most knew today. There is much
rivalry between this resort and Walt Disney World Resort
and by far it has brought positive growth to Orlando in
general.
Their first theme park, Universal
Studios Florida is much loved by movie goers since the
theme park provides visitors the opportunities to relive
the movies as if they are there in the movie sets. Fans
of movies such as Shrek, Men in Black, Revenge of the
Mummy, Terminator, Jaws and Twister would definitely go
nuts enjoying every bit of the real live attractions
here!
Islands of Adventures meanwhile are
dedicated to our childhood comic book and cartoon
heroes. Those who loves Spiderman, Hulk, Jurassic Park,
Storm (X-Men) or despises villains such as Magneto
(X-Men) and Doctor Doom (Fantastic 4) would have great
fun here. Their attractions are out of this world!
Roller coasters, fancy and heart stopping rides, you
name it, they got it!
Orlando can be quite hot during the day
at times and the best way to cool oneself and have
tonnes of fun at the same time here at Universal Orlando
Resort is to take a big splash at their Wet ‘n Wild
water theme park. They have a number of fun rides here
good for children and adults. Great place of having fun
in water!
Most locals would say that their best
spot for having fun in Orlando would be Walt Disney
World Resort but when it comes to night entertainment or
dining, they would recommend Universal’s CityWalk! Visit
the place yourself and soon you would find out why. The
place is huge! At least 30 acres of it are dedicated
towards providing every types of dining and
entertainment experience that you could think of. The
best time to come here is definitely in the evening.
Hope you won’t mind the big crowd though.
So many things to see and do here but we
would rank Universal Orlando Resort second behind Walt
Disney World Resort. Such great place cannot be enjoyed
and savoured in one day. We strongly recommend spending
at least 3 days here so that you can comfortably see and
enjoy everything there is about Universal Orlando
Resort.
