Icon symbolizes the location of St Patrick's
Cathedral.
It is formally known as The National
Cathedral & Collegiate Church of St Patrick. It is
developed on a site believed to have been used by St
Patrick to baptize local converts. It is the biggest
church in Ireland and anything with that kind of hype
should not be missed by tourists or visitors.
Undoubtedly, St Patrick’s Cathedral’s attractions are
their impressive medieval architectural features. The
cathedral even holds the record for having the longest
nave in the whole of Ireland. Other noteworthy
attractions are of course their holy ancient relics.
Overall, the cathedral itself is a
wonder on its own. It has rich histories and this should
be of great interest to those who loves to visit
historical places. Talking about history, have you read
Gulliver’s Travel one time in your life? If you have
then we’re sure that you would find this very
interesting indeed. The writer of Gulliver’s Travel,
Jonathan Swift was one time ago a Dean of the cathedral.
You can even visit his tomb and epitaph here.
