Amazing healing properties of Sea Cucumbers! A gift from the blue sea!

If you love snorkelling or scuba diving, I’m sure that you have seen this slimy sea creature somewhere. Sea cucumbers are as matter of fact falls under the family of echinoderms and class of holothuroidea. Shaped like a big sausage with a warty or spiky bodily textures. We have more than 1000 species of Sea Cucumbers with size ranging from a small 1 inch to several feet long. You could practically find them in any ocean in the world.

Amazingly, Sea Cucumbers have been used hundreds of years ago by Malays and Chinese to expedite the healing of deep wounds. Among some of the old school beliefs is that Sea Cucumbers can be used to provide comfort and faster healing on cuts, chest pain, ulcers and inflammation.
